Giuseppina Huguet

Along with Celestina Boninsegna, Giuseppina (Josefina) Huguet was a regular soprano on the Gramophone Company’s Italian operatic recordings. On this record she performs with Pietro Lara and José Torres de Luna who were also regulars for the Gramophone Company at the time. Torres de Luna recorded a number of other Faust excerpts with other singers. The company’s regular conductor and accompanist of many years, Carlo Sabajno provides the orchestral support.
